Maintaining your Well
Well maintenance is also an important part in extending the life of
your well. We recommend you give us a call to have your well
serviced & maintained when your well reaches its one year
anniversary. In fact, for every year that passes, we strongly
recommend that you have your well inspected.
What's Entailed?
During your service and maintenance call, we thoroughly go
through your system. All parts that are weak and worn will be
replaced. The following is what we offer:
- Check and/or replace Check Valves
- Check and/or replace Pressure Switch
- Check and/or replace Pressure Gauge
- Check the wiring
- Ohm your motor
- Check the pressure in your Pressure Tank
This yearly check-up is recommended so that costly breakdowns do
not occur. Our cost for this service is under $200.00
During those cold winter months, we also recommend putting a
heat lamp down in your well pit. This prevents the pipe lines and
pressure tank from freezing. Freezing usually results in breakage,
which is costly to repair.
